At The Homecare People, the safety and wellbeing of our clients and employees is always our top priority. We want to reassure our clients and their families that we are taking proactive steps to ensure we have controls and contingency measures in place to help protect those most vulnerable.
Enabling independence at home is all about delivering support where it is needed most, with services selected to suit each client and focusing on a person-centred care plan.
We are here to provide as much or as little support as desired, whether that is an hour on an occasional basis or on a regular daily visit schedule.
We also provide respite support for carer/family breaks.
Our help is often provided with the support of families and occasionally we support GP’s and healthcare professionals with their care plans.
We don’t know if you realise just how much the care you gave to my Dad meant to all his family. He always said that if it hadn’t been for his carers, especially Julie, he would not have been able to carry on after losing my Mum, Sheila, who you also cared for. There are no words to express how profoundly grateful we are for the wonderful care you gave Dad, not just Physical care, but emotional care as well. The unfailing kindness and thoughtfulness of his carers, who always seemed to go above and beyond, was something we appreciated more than you will
A fantastic caring company from someone who receives that care - highly recommend
A big thank you to all the carers who looked after Denis over the last couple of years. We really appreciate the level of care and attention he received during this time Many thanks to you all
My Mum had several carers and they were all very good. Mum learned to trust them completely and I was able to go to work knowing that she was in safe hands. We started with 3 visits a day, but as my Mum deteriorated this was increased to 4 visits. Again, it was reassuring for me, living so far away, to know that the carers came to put my Mum to bed and that she was safe then until they came in the morning to get her up. I was able to trust the Homecare People to have my Mum’s best interests at heart and to do the right things. I shall always be grateful. Please pass on my thanks to all the staff.
Our faith in care providers had been restored since using The Homecare People, we realised that not all domiciliary agencies were like the previous one, and that there were competent, trustworthy caring companies out there! Mrs EJ was able to once again be hoisted from her bed and into her wheelchair and she could resume her regular activities of visiting the day centre and shopping. Mrs EJ is very happy with the care and support that The Homecare People provide and looks forward to the ladies visiting every day and they look forward to visiting her.
I would just like to repeat my eternal thanks to your lovely ladies Lynn and Susanne. They were so kind and loving to us both and it made a difficult situation so much easier to deal with. I was quite worried at the beginning how we would get on, but they were wonderful to us. Thank you again, yours sincerely
I have been using The Homecare People to provide care for my parents for the last 18-months. They have always been friendly, approachable, adaptable and provide good quality carers. Recently, I have had to increase care requirements at short notice, and they accommodated this very well and were always on hand to discuss what was needed. My parents both get on well with the carers they have, and this is important. The carers are good at stimulating my parents with activities and conversation, which is so important with dementia. Any minor issues have always been sorted very quickly. The Homecare People also use the open system of communication, which is extremely helpful for me to see how my parents are after each visit, and I can respond to any issues quickly. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a high standard of care service.
My brother and I have partnered with The Homecare People team in the care of my parents for the last few years, and it is a real partnership. The level of care shown by the carers who visit my parents has been exemplary. The office team is extremely responsive and always prepared to sit down and talk about the level of care that is appropriate and how the programme we have in place is meeting needs. If something doesn’t go right (and sometimes it doesn’t) it is quickly rectified, and there’s never any question that the team is anything other than 100% committed. It’s this level of listening, advising and delivering that I really appreciate, and my parents love the visits they receive.
