LIVE IN CARE COMPANIONS
Very competitive pay and Hours
As our Live in Care service grows we are offering a range of hours to match both client and carer needs
Our Care Companions work from 2 weeks on 2 off, to 6\-12 weeks on, it depends on everyone's needs and we can usually be flexible
Our Pay is very competitive and considered on a client basis depending on the level of support and expertise they require most of our Clients are within 5 miles of Wokingham, so we can cover unexpected changes in hours through our Domiciliary care team, reducing risk for clients and taking pressure of carers.
Typical days are between 8\-10 hours, maximum, on duty
Our Care companions will meet with our senior team at least fortnightly and will be enrolled on our training programme, to teach new or refresh old skills.
We are very aware many Live in carers have not been trained or supported and that regulation and standards can be quite loose. We work as if you were our Dom care team and apply CQC standards and hope to build a long term relationship with excellent care givers.
Ideally you will have a car and of course must have a DBS check
Most of our Live in Companions are employed by us , however on occasion we do work with self\-employed carers.
The key thing is finding the right carers that fit our client's needs, that balance of personality and skills, we can usually make it work really well for everyone.
