Adult Emergency First Aid (6 hour course)

This course is valid for 3 years with a recommended annual half day refresher.

Adult Emergency First Aid Refresher 

If your staff require their annual refreshers, look no further as we offer the half day refresher course. This is designed to refresh those essential life saving skills at work, home and in the community.

Medication Administration and Awareness Training 

Staff are always concerned about medication and rightly so! We train you/your staff to be confident and competent in all areas of medication administration, prompting, error management, medication disposal, reporting and recording as well as general medication awareness and top tips. Medication is essential, so ensure your staff and clients are safe in 2018.

Moving and Handling (theory and chair transfers)

Patient Moving and Handling training covers the theory and basic chair and walking transfers. This training focuses on the anatomy and importance of the spine, correct lifting technique, chair transfers, supported walking and the legislation that surrounds safe moving and handling practice. Understanding Your Role; Quality, Professionalism and Communication 

Designed to meet Standard 1 of the Care Certificate, this training course looks at the role of the support worker, care assistant and senior carer. It looks at how to maintain quality, professionalism and develop appropriate communication tools for use with clients and staff. This training forms an excellent induction for staff both new and existing in the care industry and is an excellent training event that allows for reflective practice to take place (ideal for those approaching supervisions and appraisals).
